تحيي الجزائر، هذا الشهر، الذكرى الستين لأحداث 17 أكتوبر1961 التي تؤرخ للإضرابات التي نفذها أبناء الهجرة الجزائرية، مقاومة للأحكام العنصرية التي كان يطبقها عليهم المستعمر الفرنسي دون غيرهم، وقد تعرض، بهذا التاريخ، آلاف المتظاهرين الجزائرين لقمع السلطات و الشرطة الفرنسية، لاسيما بالعاصمة باريس ، مما أدى إلى إستشهاد العشرات منهم

60th Anniversary of the 17th October 1961
Algeria commemorates, this month, the sixtieth anniversary of the events of October 17, 1961, which chronicles the strikes carried out by the members of Algerian immigration, in resistance to the racist provisions that were applied to them by the French colonizer. Consequently, thousands of Algerians protesters were subject to the suppression of the French authorities and police; especially in the capital, Paris, which led to the martyrdom of dozens of them.
