Parliamentary diplomacy and longstanding relations of cooperation and friendship between the Algerian and Irish parliaments formed the focus of the meeting between the Honourable Sean O'Fearghail, Ceann Comhairle (President of Assembly), and H.E. Ambassador Mohammed Belaoura, on May 4th, 2023, at the Leinster House.

The meeting was also an opportunity to discuss preparations for the launch, in the coming days, of the Irish Algerian Parliamentary Friendship Group.
